Hurray, it is convo!!!

I know i know.. i have not updated for quite some time. Pretty tiring recently and dont know why no mood to blog. I know this post supposed to finish early but.. procrastinated again.. hehe

Anyway, got to refresh my memory and share with you what happened during my once-in-a-life-time mortarboard throwing experience

11/8/07 Saturday

Received a sms from HEP asked me to go to USM Penang on 14th of August 930am to attend the press conference. Oh gosh, i only apply my convo leaves from 15th till 17th. My mind cant stop thinking about how to go to Penang, to take emergency leave etc.. Then another sms came in, i need to take the robe on Monday.

12/8/07 Sunday

Informed my family about the events on Tuesday. Stil cant make up my mind when to go back, in the end, i bought the bus ticket to go back on Monday at 10am. Called my Boss to inform her that i am taking EL, that makes me taking one whole week of leaves!!! Going back to Penang, cant wait to see Mum and Dad and not forget our new house

13/8/07 Monday

Took a morning bus back to Penang. It was a nice trip but too bad i was alone. Arrived Penang at 3pm rushed to USM to take the robe and went to De Santia to make a booking on family photo shooting session. Went back to see my new house. I really amazed at our new home. Althought it is a flat, it is really comfortable and cosy. The best thing is the whole house is wireless! My Brother painted my room himself and it is apple green, Thank you Bro Had long night chat with RuiXin. Received a surprise that my hubby will be driving from kl tomorrow morning at 6am. That is freaking early. I discouraged him as I am worried about him driving so early in the morning.

14/8/07 Tuesday

Woke up at 730am and went to USM at 830am. They asked us to wait at the Conference room in 6th floor, Canselor Building. Around 930am, more and more people gathered in the Conference room and my coursemates Aina and her parents arrived too. Then, he arrived Was so happy to see him.

Glad that my parents, bro Kenny and he were there with me. After the Q&A session, we went to De Santia to take photo. At night, we went out to have dinner with parents.    

15/8/07 Wednesday and Thursday

Nothing much, relax in my cosy new home, visited Kuma, went to have our favourite wantan mee, hokkien mee and Char Kuey Tiao. Been to Queensbay mall and Gurney Plaza . Also watched the world badminton championship.

17/8/07 Friday

A busy day, went to old house to pick up some stuff and then went to USM. Bro met us after work while my aunty Kim brought my cousins to USM around 530pm. Arrived USM at 1pm, too bad most of my medic colleagues went back after the convocation in the morning. Heard that they came out early at 11am. Luckily managed to bump into Hokyen and snap photo with him After that, went straight to the lecture hall N, many of my coursemates were inside the room, taking photos and chit-chating. This is our first reunion after our graduation night. Chat about working life in different states. Haha. Thanks to him, I have a huge bear bear to accompany me during my convocation At night, we had a delicious family dinner at FengWei restaurant. It was very nice to see all of my coursemates again, had lots of photo and fun especially during throwing the mortarboard. I wish to thank all my family members and my friends and juniors who sms me or attend my convocation. Thank you very much for sharing one of the happiest moment in my life To all my colleagues, it was fun going through my five years of study in USM with you.
